In 2016 gave this game 5 stars but now 4/28/24 must change rating to 1 star. Really appreciate the changes made but am utterly disappointed that even though I make the books, the system of the game applies penalties that causes missed rewards. For example, a reward could be, "win 5 games& get 20 coins" and I could be 15 points away from winning but the system will apply a penalty that causes me to lose the game and reward. Also, the penalty is for getting 1 book over what was bid.

I am very unhappy with this "update"(?????) Settings are missing...a lot of the settings. No nil options as an example. Can't pass cards for a blind nil as an example. Gee, that's great fun. The issue of the overly gigantic "broken spades splash" remains. Only difference I see is the reinstatement of a previous "update" where despite having purchased the game before the"update," I again have to watch ads to continue playing after a few games. That's when move on.

I would give 5 stars except for 2 points. First, the game is constantly freezing and locking up my phone. Secondly, the computer bidding is a hot mess; for example, my partner bid 4 even though they had the top 10 spades. I am playing on the most difficult setting, so I would think the computer players would be better players. Other than that, I love the game!
